DHL came to me with a good understanding of the problem they were facing: Everyday, each team starts with a stand up where they print facts and figures to help the employees to better understand what is going on and where they need to improve.
These were presented as a stack of printed sheets of paper - It was common for these to run to 30-40 sheets per person.
This not only represented a massive cost both economically and environmentally but it wasn’t a useful way to communicate the important data.
To solve this I led a digital team which produced a product that utilized existing hardware to display the information in a clear format on large screens. Whilst being controlled via tablets.
